IN VITRO SKIN / EX VIVO

Arterra introduced and developed an ex vivo assay platform based on the manipulation of skin explants, their cryopreservation and the subsequent analysis. We can analyze and quantify the presence of specific proteins present in the various layers of the skin by monitoring the morphological and functional changes according to the treatment. We have developed in vitro 3D skin models where we can analyse functional characteristics that are difficult to observe in ex vivo skin.

medical devices

Arterra developed a 3D model of reconstituted skin, able to simulate pathological inflammatory processes, such as, for example, that of atopic dermatitis, in order to identify molecules and/or extracts capable to prevent or to treat the disease.

pharmaceutics

Arterra developed a 3D model of reconstituted skin with the aim to identify new products, capable to prevent and to treat inflammatory and/or stress processes, exploiting the potential of products of plant and food origin.
